New contract for Peace River School Division superintendent

Peace River School Division has approved a five year contract extension for its Superintendent of Schools.

Board chair Darren Kuester says the results of a recent evaluation of Paul Bennett’s work with the division was very positive.

He says they are particularly impressed with his approach to management.

“Paul is of the same view that relationships and people are everything.  If you have good relationships and good working relationships with people, then you can accomplish what you need to do.”

The new deal, which would keep Bennett with the division through to the summer of 2019, still needs to be approved by the provincial Education minister.
