Nominations are now being accepted for the first ever Northwest Alberta Sport Excellence Awards.
At the award ceremony on March 7th, amateur athletes and the coaches, volunteers, leaders and corporations that support them will be celebrated.
There are individual awards for high performance, as well as awards for community members, all presented by the Grande Prairie Sport Council, in partnership with the Alberta Sport Development Centre – Northwest.
Nomination forms can be found at www.gpsportcouncil.ca, and are due by January 31st.
