Parking bans will be back in effect Monday

Parking bans are back in effect for permanent snow routes in Grande Prairie as of Monday morning.

All that recent snowfall we’ve seen over the past 24 hours means city snow removal crews will be busy cleaning up priority one and two routes.

Bans will be in place from 7 am to 9 pm from Monday to Friday on 100 Street, 68 Ave, Resources Road and Wapiti Road.

Vehicles violating parking bans will be ticketed and or towed.

Snow removal crews will also be moving into residential neighbourhoods next week.

Residents in Mountview, VLA, Montrose, Hillside, Crystal Heights, Ivy Lake Estates, Crystal Landing, and Summit are reminded to make sure vehicles are not parked on the street on Monday.
