UPDATE: The highway has reopened.

One person suffered non life-threatening injuries after a tanker truck rollover on Highway 2 near Highway 43 Monday afternoon.

The incident happened just after 4 p.m, with the truck blocking both northbound lanes.

Police say the driver suffered non life-threatening injuries and was treated by EMS on scene.

A detour is in place for drivers heading northbound on Highway 2, as drivers will be re-routed to 156 Ave or Highway 43.
