While all that snow out there has made a mess of Grande Prairie roads, it has done wonders for conditions out at the Nitehawk Recreation Area.
Assistant General Manager Johnathan Clarkson says they are having a powder day out at the hill today, and possibly all weekend depending on if the snow holds up.
The hill is open from 11 to 5 for the next three days and the end of the holiday skiing hours.
Clarkson says the road out to the ski hill has already been ploughed for drivers this morning.
