The Government of Alberta will soon be touring the province, including a stop in Grande Prairie, to host a series of seminars to try and help budding entrepreneurs get their start in the tourism industry.
The Tourism Entrepreneurship Startup Seminar is a one day, free of charge workshop for anyone who is looking to build a tourism business or are new to the industry and want to strengthen their skills. The seminar will cover a range of topics, including seasonal demand, financing and marketing.
“Tourism helps drive our economy in communities across Alberta. Our government is helping up-and-coming tourism operators get a strong start in the industry. Alberta is open for business and these seminars will help our entrepreneurs open new businesses,” says Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Tourism Tanya Fir.
The Grande Prairie seminar is set for September 24th with the location to be determined.
