Police looking for suspect in east end liquor store robbery

Police are investigating a robbery at a liquor store in Hillside yesterday.

The suspect walked into the store on 100 Ave and 93 Street around 11:40 last night.

The man reportedly pointed what looked like a gun at the employee and demanded money from the cash register.

He left through the back door after the employee handed the money over.

The suspect is described as 5’8-9″, wearing black pants, a black jacket, ski goggles, a black hat, and work gloves.

Police are still working on getting surveillance video, and are asking anyone with information to contact the local detachment or crime stoppers.
