RCMP have charged a 41 year old Grande Prairie man with numerous assault and firearms related offences after he took a weapon into a local business yesterday.
Police say they were called to the Rona hardware store in the Gateway Power Centre around 4:30 yesterday.
The suspect had reportedly assaulted his estranged spouse and pointed a gun at a number of other people in the store before leaving the scene in a green pick up.
