Sunwing is offering it’s first direct flight from Grande Prairie to Cancun, Mexico this morning.
The flight is the first of Sunwing’s weekly service to Cancun from now until March.
A rep with Sunwing says the flight stops in Fort McMurray both on the way there and back so passengers can deplane and go through customs.
Last year Sunwing offered vacations to Puerto Vallarta via Fort McMurray for Grande Prairie customers.
