“Red Tape Reduction” roundtables set for Grande Prairie

The Grande Prairie District Chamber of Commerce and Grande Prairie MLA Tracy Allard will be hosting a pair of what they’re calling a “Red Tape Reduction” roundtable.

Topics can include anything business-related, however, potential participants are being asked to keep the questions specifically surrounding a few key issues. Including; How many jobs will proposal create? How will the proposal impact compliance costs? How much regulatory burden does the proposal take away?

Allard says she will be asking each participant to “help identify areas where business owners use unnecessary time and resources to comply with regulatory requirements imposed by legislation, regulations, associated policies and forms.”

She adds “Each participant will be allotted 3 – 4 minutes to inform the group on their ideas to cut red tape, get Albertans back to work and save everyone valuable time.”
