New Community Growth Director hired for City of Grande Prairie

The City of Grande Prairie has hired a new Community Growth Director.

Koji Miyaji comes with more than 30 years of municipal government experience, the majority of which was spent in Calgary.

He has senior management experience in several areas, including transportation management, water services, and environmental management.

On a personal note, he says he’s looking forward to checking out the area’s recreation opportunities, as he loves to stay active and has a degree in recreation from the University of Lethbridge.

He starts January 12, replacing Janette Ferguson, who is retiring.
