Grande Prairie MLA Tracy Allard has been named to the Premier’s Council of the Status of Persons with Disabilities.
Allard will work in an advisory role acting as a liaison between the provincial government and council members, and will also try and promote equal opportunities for Albertans with Disabilities to try and reach their full potential and to engage in community life.
“As a representative on the Premier’s Council, I will continue building an effective relationship between the council and the government. I look forward to meeting with the disability community to learn more about issues that are important.”
The Premier’s Council of the Status of Persons with Disabilities is made of 15 volunteers from across the province.
