Stolen vehicles and equipment from the Alberta Peace region have been turned up in Dawson Creek.
On December 4th, a 37 year old male from Edmonton was found driving a stolen Ford F-350 from Grande Prairie, resulting in a charge of possession of property over $5,000.
That investigation led police to search a rural property yesterday, where they turned up a stolen snowmobile and trailer from Clairmont, a second stolen trailer and oilfield related equipment from Spirit River, and another stolen Ford pickup from Grande Prairie that had been chopped up for parts, among other stolen items, a large amount of marijuana, and prohibited firearms.
Darcy Beckman, a Dawson Creek resident, is now also facing charges, and more may be coming against other suspects.
The theft victims have been identified and items returned to their owners.
