Thanks to efforts in Grande Prairie and across Alberta, more than $100,000 worth of toys and food has been donated to local charities through the Alberta Motor Association’s Fill Our Fleet campaign.
Here in the Swan City, six pallets boxes worth $6,300 will be going to help the Grande Prairie Salvation Army Food Bank.
Cash and food items were collected at AMA locations from November 17th, and were loaded up and delivered on December 12th.
This year there were 78 pallets, far surpassing their goal of 70 and last year’s total of 60.
