Saddle Hills County working on a new plan to guide growth in Woking

Saddle Hills County has started working on a plan to guide future growth for the hamlet of Woking.

The county will be collecting input from the public over the next few months, and an Area Structure Plan should be complete by spring.

Woking’s current area structure plan was adopted in 2007, and has become outdated, no longer providing direction for growth in the community.

Updating the ASP also allows for better integration of the hamlet’s sewage lagoon, waster water, landfill, and water reservoir facilities.

The first open house is scheduled for January 28 at the Woking Community Hall.
