Suspects in truck theft and kidnapping identified

Grande Prairie RCMP has released the names of two of the people accused of stealing a truck with an infant in the back seat Tuesday.

26 year old Keisha Horseman and 22 year old David Michael Smith – both from Grande Prairie – are facing theft of a motor vehicle, kidnapping, abandoning a child, and possession charges and are in police custody.

A 14 year old from Edmonton has also been charged and released, but cannot be named.

They will next appear in court on March 3rd.

The trio was picked up after the stolen truck was spotted at a forestry products mill south of the city.

Seven month old Addison was found in her car seat on the front step of a home south of the city.
