Local swimmer collects three medals at Canadian Junior Championships

A local swimmer has made it to the podium for the third time at the Canadian Junior Championships. On Monday, Grande Prairie Piranhas Swim Club member Catherine Minic added a bronze medal to her collection in the 3-kilometre open water 15 to 17-year-old category.

Earlier on in the competition, she also picked up a silver in the 15 to 17 200 metre butterfly and a silver in the 15 to 17 100 metre butterfly.

The competition ran from July 24th to the 29th at the Repsol Sport Centre in Calgary.
