Two charged after Grande Prairie RCMP seize drugs, cash from multiple locations

Two people have been charged after Grande Prairie RCMP allegedly seized drugs and Canadian currency from several locations around the city.

Mounties say between July 17th and July 24th, they executed search warrants on a hotel room, a residence, and two vehicles in the Grande Prairie area. Police say during the search, they allegedly seized approximately 340 grams of Cocaine and around $20,000 cash.

Subsequently, 23-year-old Carl Wiese, and 20-year-old Sergio Quezada, both from Edmonton, have been charged with possession of a controlled substance for trafficking and possession of proceeds over $5000.

Both men will next appear in Grande Prairie court on August 14th.
