Pair of Piranhas Swim Club members make podium at junior championships

Two members of the Grande Prairie Piranhas Swim Club have made the podium at the Canadian Junior Championships. On day one of the competition in Calgary, ‪Catherine Minic won a silver medal in the 100-metre butterfly 15 to 17-year-old category.

At the competition last year, Catherine picked up gold in both the 100 and 200-metre butterfly.

Also on the first day, Jordan Greber placed 3rd in the B final of the 13 to 14-year-old 200-metre backstroke.

The competition runs from July 24th to the 29th at the Repsol Sport Centre.
