Calgary police looking for information on missing man with ties to city

Calgary Police Service is asking for information on a missing man with ties to Grande Prairie. 43-year-old Abdikadir Tukhov of Calgary was last seen on December 5th, 2016 leaving a home in the Abbeydale neighbourhood of Calgary.

Police say Tukhov spent time in Grande Prairie, Calgary, Edmonton and Red Deer and they believe he was driving a taxi in Grande Prairie before he disappeared.

Police have released a photo of a man and woman who were seen with Tukhov at a Cambridge Red Deer Hotel before his disappearance and are asking the public if they recognize them.

The woman is described as 25 to 40 years old with an average build with brown hair. The man is described as 30 to 45 years old with an average build.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Calgary Police Service Homicide Tip Line at 403-428-8877 or Crime Stoppers.
