Grande Prairie's four year budget to be finalized today

After 5 days of deliberations in November, City Council will finalize it’s operating and capital budgets for the next four years this evening.

There is three options available to council, the first being the result of their deliberations in November.

The second option would mean more of an increase in 2015, but smaller tax jumps in the three years following.

Option 3 balances the tax increase at 4.2 per cent per year over the four year span.

The second and third options reflect potential fleet charges, related to maintenance and replacement of vehicles and equipment.
