Thanks to the generosity of Grande Prairie residents and businesses, 2day FM has reached its goal of raising $22,970 to purchase a new neonatal incubator for the QEII Hospital Foundation.
The radio station spent the day Thursday at the Prairie Mall, holding the Care for Kids 12 hour radiothon.
As Grande Prairie’s newest station, they set an ambitious target, but Dirham Homes stepped up to fill the gap and make sure they reached their goal, donating nearly $6,000 on top of their original sponsorship.
The company has been building in Grande Prairie for more than 30 years, and wanted to give back to its community.
