The City of Grande Prairie wants to thank its residents with a day of free family fun. Municipal Government Day is set for June 27th at Revolution Place.
“Historically it’s a day where we kind of celebrate Grande Prairie. We celebrate and recognize the services that are available throughout the city and make people aware of them,” Revolution Place General Manager Scott Clark said previously.
The event will run rain or shine from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. It will feature indoor and outdoor activities including bouncy castles and a kid’s zone, a free barbeque, entertainment, food trucks, information booths from city departments and equipment displays from the fire department.
Free transit will also be available that day from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Those not using public transit are asked to park in the lots to the south and west of Revolution Place.
