Housing starts up more than 25 per cent in Grande Prairie

Housing starts are up more than 25 per cent over last year.

So far this year we’ve seen 657 homes built, compared to 515 at this point last year.

Single family homes are actually down slightly, but the growth is all coming from mutiple family homes, which are more than double what we saw through eleven months of 2013.

Housing starts last month were comparable to last November, with only three less single family homes.
