RCMP raids result in 6 arrests and the seizure of cash, drugs, and stolen property

RCMP have laid charges against six Grande Prairie residents, following two separate raids on Thursday.
Police say the first was a home at the Ranchlands Apartment Buildings, where they seized around 2500 suspected fentanyl pills, 384 grams of cocaine, 6.7 grams of methamphetamine, and 11.3 grams of MDMA.
In that raid, 4 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking were laid against 24 year old Ayana Alisho, 52 year old Ahmed Alisho, and 40 year old Mahdi Mohammed.
All three have been released on $8000 cash bail and will appear in court on January 19, 2015.
Thursday’s second raid was at a home on 97 St and 100 Ave.
RCMP seized cash, 21 grams of cocaine, 80 mL of GHB, 15 unknown pills and a stolen purse.
A number of drug related charges have been laid against Rae-Lynn August, Wayne Schwartz, and Tanya Baldwin.
Those three will make their first court appearance in Grande Prairie on January 5, 2015.
