RCMP charge youth for driving double the speed limit

A young driver is facing charges after driving almost double the posted speed limit on Highway 43. On June 11, Grande Prairie RCMP pulled the driver over for going 200 kilometres an hour down the highway near Valleyview.

The driver, who can not be named because of their age, has been charged with speeding. Police are reminding drivers to obey posted speed limits and reduce speed in construction and school zones.
