Location and home builder announced for 2020 Rotary Dream Home Lottery

Following up on what they’re calling their biggest sales year to date, officials at the Rotary Dream Home Lottery are hoping a return to a familiar neighbourhood will continue that trend in 2020.

The 2020 Dream Home will be built in Taylor Estates by High Mark Homes Ltd. The 2018 Dream Home was built two lots down. Officials say the success of the last decade has brought them to this point, and they want to repay the public for their generosity in the form of bigger and better prizes.

“In the last 10 years, this lottery has grown, dollar-wise, every year. We’ve really been fortunate, we’ve had a lot of fun with it, we’ve had some wonderful sponsorship, and I think in the end the community has got behind it,” says Raffle Manager Kevin Hilgers.

The 3045 square foot home will feature five bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, and according to Rhonda Side with Taylor Estates, it’s a remarkable honour to be part of a lottery still growing in its 27th year.

“It’s a testament to the extraordinary people of this region and the deep sense of community. Amazing. We look forward to welcoming the entire region to Taylor Estates and are honoured to be able to do so in partnership with the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie.”

Tickets for the Rotary Dream Home Lottery will go on sale around the middle of December.
