Poor air quality causes partial closure of Eastlink Centre aquatics amenities

The City of Grande Prairie has announced the partial closure of some of the aquatic amenities at the Eastlink Centre due to poor indoor air quality.

Officials say the slides, splash features, splash park, lazy river, and Flowrider have been closed to help protect the health and safety of both visitors and staff.

In a statement, the city says the indoor air quality in the pool area is poor due to the air handling units and the moist environment. Officials say they will update the public as soon as possible.
