More flu immunization clinics on the way for Grande Prairie

Nearly a million Albertans have gotten their flu shot this season, and Grande Prairie residents have more opportunities coming up.

Immunization clinics are being held at the Eastlink Centre on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends leading up to Christmas.

Residents over the age of six months old can also head to the public health centre and other clinics to get their free shot.

So far this flu season, seven people in the province have passed away from the virus.

One of those was in the north zone, which has seen 16 lab confirmed cases.
