Residents interested in learning more about the results of a new report on the state of maternity care in the province are invited to a follow up forum tonight in Peace River.
The MaternityCare Consumers of Alberta Network spent about five months earlier this year surveying nearly 1,400 people across the province, and the resulting report found the system is in a crisis, with not enough providers to meet the demand.
MCAN will discuss the results and work with residents to create an action plan for the Peace Region.
