The streets of Grande Prairie are a little less hairy today, as Sunday marked the final day of Movember – a global challenge to grow moustaches and raise money and awareness for men’s health programs.
For the fourth time, Canada led the world in donations, raising more than $18 million for prostate cancer research.
The Oil Rig Rumble Network raised more than a million dollars, with MEG Energy and Arc Resources as the top fundraisers.
Here in Grande Prairie, the Global Raymac Furveyors rounded up $4,500, while the GP Tax Dusters raised 1,430.

The Mo Money GP network managed to raise $1,030, while local firefighters roped in nearly $950.
