Brownvale woman arrested in connection to break and enters, thefts

A 29-year-old Brownvale woman has been charged with numerous counts of breaking and entering and theft after she allegedly stole a pair of vehicles.

On May 5th, Peace Regional RCMP received a call about a truck and trailer that had been stolen from a business in the St. Isidore area. When police arrived, they discovered that the suspect had left behind a vehicle that was stolen during a break-in at a home in Grimshaw earlier in the day.

Later that same day the stolen truck and trailer were seen along the side of highway 986 in Northern Sunrise County. The suspect was picked up by passing driver but was arrested by police a short time later.

She has been charged with, among other things, two counts of break and enter to commit theft, two counts of vehicle theft, theft over $5,000 and two counts of driving a vehicle while prohibited.
