UPDATE: Nitehawk Recreation Area will now be closed today and tomorrow due to the cold weather. However, they expect to open up on Sunday.
Nitehawk night skiing will officially be open to the public this evening for the first time this season.
The hill will be open from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. for any skiiers, snowboarders, or tubers who want to take advantage to all the fresh snow on the ground.
The hill will also be open Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

More than 600 people came out last weekend to take part in Nitehawk’s soft opening on Saturday and Sunday.
