Two workers killed on construction site near Fox Creek

Two workers have died following an incident on a construction site near Fox Creek. Source Energy Services says the contractors were working on building additional storage equipment on Tuesday morning when they were killed.

“Our thoughts are with the family, friends, and coworkers of the deceased during this tragic time. Source has dispatched emergency counselling services for those immediately impacted and extended further access to counselling services to families of the workers.”

Alberta Occupational Health and Safety has launched an investigation. Source says more information will be released as it becomes available.
