All hands on deck for snow removal in the County

The County of Grande Prairie is using all available resources to try and clear snow from County roads.

20 graders, four plow trucks, three large tractors and three loaders are going full speed to clear what’s already fallen, as the region is expecting up to 30 centimetres of snow by Friday night, with strong winds to blow it around.

The first priority is main paved roads, along with arterial and local gravel roads.

It may take longer if snow is blowing or drifting as resources will have to go back to priority routes.

Snow removal in hamlets should be done in Wedgewood tomorrow, moving on to Clairmont afterwards.
