UPDATE: The fog advisory has ended.
Dense fog has blanketed the Grande Prairie area. Environment Canada issued a fog advisory for the region Tuesday morning, noting near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring.
The fog should clear later in the morning. In the meantime, drivers are reminded to turn on their lights and keep a safe following distance.
