Enforcement services ticketing vehicles parked on snow routes

With the anticipated 20 to 30 centimetres of snow expected to fall on Grande Prairie over the next two days, the city’s Enforcement Services will be cracking down on those violating parking bans.

City snow removal crews are making their way through priority one and two routes around the city, but any vehicles parked on the street between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. restrict access for snow plows.

The city hopes to have all priority one, two, and three roads cleared and passable by Monday, before moving into residential neighborhoods, which is taking about 10 week days.

Plows are in Westpointe, Pinnacle Ridge, Mission Heights, O’Brien Lake, and Stoneridge today.
