Revolution Place nominated for Canadian Radio Music Award

Revolution Place in Grande Prairie has been nominated for Canadian Radio Music’s best Major Facility (under 8,000 capacity) award.

Revolution Place GM Scott Clark says at the end of the day, the residents of Grande Prairie should be looked at as one of the main reasons the venue is getting recognition.

“The marketplace votes with their wallet and they’ve supported shows. There is a real appetite here for live entertainment, and that leads to successful shows.”

The city, who owns the building, says over 45,000 concert tickets have been sold since the start of 2018.

The award winners will be announced on May 9th at a ceremony in Toronto as part of Canadian Music Week.
