Local museums team up for International Museum Day celebration

The Phillip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum, Heritage Discover Centre and Grande Prairie Museum will be opening their doors to the public for free as part of International Museum Day on May 18th.

On top of the free entry, the three locations are also banding together to offer free shuttle service for those wanting to take in all the activities.

“International Museum Day is a great way for people to learn and explore the variety of historical and cultural places located throughout our City and neighbouring municipalities. We are excited and proud to participate every year and look forward to contributing to its ongoing success,” says Mayor Bill Given

The shuttle service will leave every half an hour from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. You can find more information at the dinosaur museum website.
