Traffic stopped on Highway 32 between Whitecourt and Swan Hills

Cleanup crews remain on the scene of a vehicle collision on Highway 32 between Whitecourt and Swan Hills.

Around 10:15 last night, a tractor trailer hauling chemical products was heading northbound when it lost control and rolled on its side.

Some of its contents spilled and the truck was blocking part of the road near the Pembina plant.

All traffic was stopped at the time and it was expected clean up could take several hours.

We’re still waiting on an update.
