Voting now open for Youth Engagement Awards

Local youth are being asked to choose their favourite youth-friendly businesses in Grande Prairie. Voting is now open for the Youth Engagement Awards.

Presented annually by the City of Grande Prairie Youth Council, they are given to businesses, schools and community agencies that show the valuable role community plays in positive youth development in Grande Prairie.

Categories include youth-friendly business of choice, Community Engagement Award, Employer of Choice and Youth Mentor of Choice. The 2019 nominees are listed below.

Youth aged 13 to 24 can vote on the city’s website. The awards will be handed out at a ceremony on May 6th from 7 to 9 p.m. at Teresa Sargent Hall.
