Fire crews were able to stop a structure fire from spreading to a nearby home early Sunday morningĀ in the MD of Peace.
Firefighters from Peace River, Weberville and Strong Creek contained the blaze to a small building, and no injuries have been reported.
At this time of year, the fire department is reminding residentsĀ to make sure their heating appliances are working properly, and that power cords aren’t damaged.
