UPDATE: Power restored west of Grande Prairie

UPDATE #2: Power has been restored.

UPDATE: Power west of Grande Prairie is now expected to be restored around 8 p.m.

People in areas west of Grande Prairie lost power Sunday afternoon. ATCO Electric says 414 customers in the Dimsdale, Wembley, and Bear Lake areas are affected by the outage.

It started around 4:30 p.m. and the cause is still unknown. The estimated time of restoration is 7 p.m.
