Grande Prairie RCMP believes it has caught the man responsible for an armed robbery last weekend.
At approximately 7:45 p.m. on November 15th, the suspect told the cashier at the Mac’s convenience store on 100th Street and 105th Avenue that he was robbing her.
He threatened to shoot her with what looked like a hand gun and fled with a small amount of cash on foot.
A 39 year old was arrested yesterday at his home in the city and is still in custody pending his bail hearing on a charge of robbery with a firearm.
His name has not been released.
