Two St. Joes Celtics representing Alberta U17s in Pacific Challenge

A pair of defensive linemen from the St. Joes Celtics will join up with the Alberta U17 team at the Pacific Challenge later this summer.

Ashton Cyre and Dakota Power were selected along with 78 others out of a pool of 800 of the best players in the province who will head to Hawaii in August to take on three local high schools.

Football Alberta says the U17 team is a development squad of players who were close to making the U18 team and were and born in 2003.

The Pacific Challenge runs from August 4th-12th.
