Just weeks after closing the cafe doors in Clairmont, Mama & Papa have settled into their new home at the Crosslink County Sportsplex. The duo will serve their lunchtime menu in the Over-Time Family Sports Lounge seven days a week.
“This will be a wonderful addition to the Over-Time Family Sports Lounge,” says GM Kelly Skotnisky. “Mama and Papa ran a very reputable cafe, known for good quality and homemade food.”
Despite lineups out the door to try and save the business following word of the impending closure, owners Debbie Walker and Jacques Brunet were forced to shutter the location on March 29th. At the time, they blamed their financial troubles on the ups and downs of the oil and gas industry.
