I’m running because our politicians are making things worse and not better. We have so many problems to fix but we have near zero impact on our own govt. If you are anything like me you may find
yourself constantly overwhelmed by Everything that’s wrong with the politics. By politics I’m not talking about Conservatives or Liberals but I’m talking about the flaws that exist in our Political System regardless of which party is in power. The govt.is ours, we pay for it and It needs to work for us. Right now it doesn’t.

I want to continue the work we have done diversifying our economy, adding value added jobs to our oil and gas sector and fighting to gain access to markets for our oil. I want to continue the infrastructure projects that have created jobs and made our region safer. I am proud of the work Rachel Notley has done eliminating conservative corruption from our provincial government. I believe now is not the time to fire teachers and nurses. Now is not the time to stop needed infrastructure projects. It is not the time to lower wages and benefits while giving $4.5 billion to the most profitable corporations. I want to represent you because I believe I share your values – values that I want used when our representative evaluates government decisions.

I am running because we’ve made great progress but the work isn’t
done. I want to:
Complete our government’s Made in Alberta plan to diversify our
energy sector, building on the recent announcement by Nauticol
that they are opening a new methanol plant near Grande Prairie;
Finish the job of getting the Trans Mountain Pipeline built;
Protect overtime pay and fair minimum wage for workers;
Promote more economic development to keep rural communities
growing. That includes working with local communities like
Falher, the MD of Spirit River and Saddle Hills County on next
steps for new value-added agricultural opportunities like hemp
decortication, pulse processing and nitrogen fertilizer
manufacturing.
Ensure better schools, better health care and better seniors’ care.
Expand the $25/day child care program, already operating in
Fairview and Valleyview, to more communities.
