Grande Prairie hockey player named to Alberta Challenge roster

A Grande Prairie hockey player is on her way to the 2019 Alberta Challenge. 15-year-old Ava Glenn has been named to the Team North Yellow roster for the challenge this May.

The forward plays for the Peace Country Bonnet’s Storm. During the 2018/2019 season, Ava played in 22 games, picking up five goals and three assists for eight points.

The Alberta Challenge is the top Bantam female hockey tournament in Alberta. Rosters were selected following two regional camps held April 5th to 7th in Cochrane and Fort Saskatchewan.

Ava and Team North Yellow will play from May 2nd to 5th at the Sobeys Arena in Leduc. A full schedule can be found here.
