RCMP in Valleyview is investigating a sexual assault on the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation reserve.
A man, described as black and possibly Somalian, that may have been driving a U-Haul rental vehicle, is the suspect in the assault that was committed in a home south of Highway 43 and the Timber Wolf Gas Station.
Due to the severity of the crime, police are hoping someone may have seen something between 8 a.m. and noon on Monday, November 17th.
Anyone with information on someone fitting the suspect description on the reserve that day is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
