Make sure to mind trespassing signs this hunting season

November is prime hunting season but if you are headed out this fall, make sure you are not travelling onto private property.

RCMP say they have received quite a few complaints recently about hunters trespassing onto privately owned land around Grande Prairie.

If you are hoping to hunt on private land, you do need permission from the land owner, or you risk being slapped with a $287 fine.

Land owners are also encouraged to make sure ‘No Trespass’ signs are clearly posted on fences around their property.
